Being a Christian is like being a farmer. Every word spoken is a seed sown and depending on whether you sow good or bad seed determines the type of harvest you will reap. Positive confessions are critical to any one who wants to have positive outcomes. (2 Corinthians 4:13)
Matthew 13:19 Someone hears the Word of the Kingdom but does not understand it and it can be easily snatched away.
Mark 4:15 When the Word is "sown" in your heart, Satan immediately comes to take it away.
Prov 4:7 In all your getting, get understanding
Luke 10:41 Dont allow the pressures of life to steal your peace and confidence in life.
7 Reasons why confessing God's Word works for you:
1. It is the way you sow seeds (plant the Word) in the Kindgom of God. Faith works in the heart, not in the head (Romans 8:7~ the thinhs of God are foolishness to the mind, it is the Spirit that believes). Luke 17:21/Ps 45:1/ Matt 12:34/Mark 4:26, 27/ Matt 17:20/ Mark 11:23 (There is a garden in you)
2. It causes faith to come because words transmit fear or faith (Romans 10:17/Job 3:25)
3. It renews the mind because you are speaking and talking the way God does (Romans 12:1, 2; Colossians 3:9,10)
4. It keeps the answer before you (Phil 4:6-8) Get rid of the problem by confessing the answer
