18th day of the Wall Street Protests!

Occupy Wall Street is leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions. The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary *Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants. (Source: http://occupywallst.org/)
*The Arab Spring tactic is simply a revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protests occurring in the Arab world using social media to raise awareness and communicate while battling attempts at repression and online censorship.

Demonstrators are revealing their anger at the unstable economy and pleading against bailing out Wall St which is viewed as a place filled with corporate greed. In Manhattan on Monday, protesters dressed as corporate zombies in white face paint in front of the New York Stock Exchange clutching fistfuls of fake money.

The protests have received the support of Dr. West, Russell Simmons and many other activits including my former employer (in the pic below) New York Council Member Charles Barron. I loved working for him!




To date, hundreds have been arrrested!
