Time heals all wounds, does it really?

There are people who will say "I'm just tired, I'm tired" well if you're tired go to sleep. Or people will say, I'm not hurt, I am just angry, or they will tell you that they cannot deal with the situation anymore because they are just tired. But it's called hurt. Then there is a vicious cycle because hurt people hurt people. Regardless of what you call it....Hurt, angry, tired, upset...all the same thing, youre spirit is wounded. You're hurt.

Then there is the myth that "Time heals all wounds" - no it doesn't. Over time, if you are constantly distracted from the hurt, you will feel like you are moving on but it has to be dealt with and confronted so it wont linger. The devil wants us hurt. When we are hurt we always look at our past, never at our future! God promises to give us a good future (Jeremiah 29:11) but if we are constantly dwelling on our past, we won't be able to enter into the promise.

Luke 4:18 -The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

God wants you healed, He does not want you hurt. Give it over to God and He will heal your broken heart.

Matthew 5:44, 45 teaches us how to truly forgive and forget. "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Two steps
1. Pray for them -- yes and not that they drop dead, or to see how they hurt you and how they were wrong but truly pray for God to bless them - the greatest blessing is a relationship with God
2. Exercise your nature to forgive (Romans 5:5 - And hope does not put us to shame, because Gods love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to.) Unforgiveness isa learned behavior. Children are naturally forgiving because that is the nature God created us with. Remember Genesis 1:26 states that we were made in His image. That does not mean that we look like Him but that our spirits look like Him, remember God is spirit so that is the image He was referring to.

Repeat this confession (1 Corinthians 13:5, AMP)
I pay no attention to the evil done to me and I do not take account of a suffered wrong.

Keep saying it, one day it will manifest!
