Fire on 34th St.

Thursday afternoon on my lunch break, I walked along 34th St as workers evacuated from a building, reportedly a Con Edison transformer caught on fire.

The ambulance raced down the street to offer help. Reportedly, a Con Edison transformer caught on fire.

Two people were hospitalized, and several others were treated for smoke inhalation.Thankfully, there were no deaths.
