Why are words so perverted now that you have to ask for clarification when statements are made? Usually if someone said that something was "wicked" or "bad", it would have a negative connotation but now wicked means good/cool where as "bad" is something that is "hot"...even though "hot" used to refer to heat or spice/flavor.
Before if someone was called a "dog", it would be highly offensive, now friends call each other "dog". You would hear greetings like "wassup dog". Nigger refers to someone who is black and has been used interchangeably with the neutral word "negro". On the other hand, hip hop utilizes the derogatory term "nigga" and now its cool to say "wassup ma nigga"?
Why can't we just say what we mean and mean what we say? Why can't we express ourselves using words that were not made up so recently that it hasn't been included in the dictionary?
The word "incredible" has a dictionary definition of "something that is not credible". Why is it that we say God is incredible when He is the most credible in existence?
Do you remember when "gay" used to mean "happy" and when "kool" used to start with a "c"?
